Festival Playground #3 - Danser Ensemble

Born in 2022 out of the ambition of the Rencontres Chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis to pursue their openness and nurture dialogue with today's youth, the Playground Festival goes as close as possible to young spectators.

For this occasion, Compagnie DCA and RCI are joining forces to host a performance of Alice Davazaglou's Danser Ensemble at La Chaufferie, on Thursday November 21 at 7.30pm..

DANSER ENSEMBLE - Alice Davazoglou

Danser ensemble is a global project: interdisciplinary, evolving and, above all, human. It's almost a life project for Alice Davazoglou, an artist who embraces her Down's syndrome to the point of shaking things up: what if, this time, it wasn't the non-disabled who made the disabled dance, but the other way round?
Armed with this conviction and intention, and supported by the book she has written - Je suis Alice Davazoglou, je suis trisomique normale mais ordinaire -, the artist invites ten major French choreographers to perform a short choreography written for them. Danser ensemble opens a secret door into the labyrinth of thought that is her own. The challenge is clear: to touch the heart!

Single ticket price: €6

A performance is also scheduled for Wednesday November 27 at 15:30 at the Salon du Livre et de la Presse Jeunesse de Seine-Saint-Denis (Montreuil).
