Daphné Mauger

Daphné Mauger is a contemporary dancer, choreographic assistant, assistant director and choreographer.
She graduated from the CNSM de Paris in contemporary dance in 1994. She has danced for Karine Saporta, Philippe Decouflé, Alban Richard, Laura Scozzi and Système Castafiore.
Since 2004, she has been Alban Richard's choreographic assistant at the CCN de Caen, working on the pieces Downfall, Disperse, Luisance, Et mon cœur a vu à foison, Vivace, Fix me, 3 works for 12 and in 2023 Come kiss me now.
She assists Laura Scozzi and Laurent Pelly on La vie Parisienne, then the Castafiore System on the creation Atvahkaba and Benedict Andrews on L'ange de feu.
In 2018, she is assistant director and choreographer to Jean-Romain Vesperini for Carmen at Hong Kong's French May Festival and La Bohème at Bolshoi in Moscow.
She is choreographer for Alex Ranisch's opera Rigoletto in 2020 and assistant director for the revival at the Opéra de Lyon in 2022.
She is movement assistant on the creation of Œdipe at the Opéra National de Paris for director Wajdi Mouawad in September 2021. In 2023, she is assistant director for Eugen Jebeleanu's Noces de Figaro at the Opéra de Lyon. Since 2007, she has worked as Philippe Decouflé's choreographic assistant on the Rugby World Cup parade and on his shows Sombreros, Octopus, Contact, Wiebo, Nouvelles Pièces Courtes, Tout doit disparaître and the 2021 tour of Shazam. She is artistic collaborator on Cirque du Soleil's IRIS created in Los Angeles in 2011 and Paramour in 2016 produced by Broadway and Cirque du Soleil in New York.
